The Last Word
Design of Logo, Website and Stationery Items
Rebecca Marshall-Howarth is a writer who left the corporate world to start her own business. She wanted her new company name to be "The Last Word" but also wanted to play up on the concept, "Rebecca - the last word when it comes to writing, editing, proofreading and other marketing communication services." We kept her company name and logo design simple, as just "The Last Word" but tied her personal name tightly to the logo as a sort of secondary logomark to convey the concept of "Rebecca - The Last Word."
I designed the website for The Last Word which was built by Web Design by Robin, using my PDF mockup of the site. The content was very text-heavy, so I designed icons to help add some visual interest to some of the pages while also illustrating the services offered.
